4orks restaurant located in Scarborough at 4524 Kingston Rd, Morningside opened at the beginning of the year on January 4th, 2016. The owners Chef Kareema and Chef Wayne bring to the table extensive culinary backgrounds as well as a lifetime experience of being raised on Caribbean food. Scarborough is one of the many cities in the GTA known for its range of different cultures. Coming from the Caribbean and always having the opportunity to enjoy such flavorful food allows us to imagine the endless possibilities and infusions of spices to make some unique and mouthwatering creations.
Between Chef Wayne and Chef Kareema the possibilities for new and innovative culinary creations are endless. Through their partnership they have concocted some of the most delicious and out of the box recipes that always offers something new and exciting to their customers. Together they established 4orks through their love of food looking to introduce something unique to the world. Living in such a diverse society has really changed the game and food is something that is so interchangeable that it can be diversified in a multitude of ways. At 4orks out of the box thinking is something different and it takes their food far from the norm some might be accustomed to.
At 4orks Restaurant they encourage you to imagine the possibilities, enjoy the infusion of Caribbean flavors and indulge in some of the most exciting culinary delights of this time. Their restaurant was launched out of a love and passion for food, which is evident in the consideration that they put into each and every one of their dishes. Their shared passion has allowed them to capitalize on their own experience and encouraged them to incorporate all the flavors of the city to create something for everyone to enjoy.
Having the privilege to open their own restaurant was a long time coming for Chef Wayne and Chef Kareema. Over the years they would have to rent out kitchens or cater from home and it became costly and overwhelming at times. They started 4orks to provide their patrons with a place to come and experience their creative Fusion foods with an authentic Caribbean ambience in a dine in restaurant setting.
As with many small business endeavors their biggest challenge has been trying to balance both business and personal life. They spend on average fourteen plus hours a day, six days a week at the restaurant, but they are here for you and they love what they do!

At 4orks they offer Caribbean Fusion foods not just the normal classics we are used to. 4orks Restaurant is open Monday to Wednesday from 11:00am – 8:00pm and Thursday to Saturday from 11:00am – 9:00pm. They have recently added to their team, welcoming Chef Sierra as the newest member from the community to join team 4orks.
