As the longest day of the year approaches, it’s a reminder that it’s time to shine!

Happy June Star Family! It is a brand-new month, bringing with it an air of change and expansion. June is the six-month mark in the Gregorian calendar, it also marks the changes in seasons in the astrological calendar. June 21st will mark the first day of summer and the longest day of the year. We are preparing to change gears.
Gemini is an air sign, symbolized by the twins. Ruled by the planet Mercury, Gemini heavily influences the way we communicate, articulate information, and how we interact with our environment. Gemini also manifests the principles of duality, in being the twins that represent one sign, one mind. Good vs bad, dark vs light, hot vs. cold are some examples of the dual nature of life we engage in every day.
As a Gemini myself, one of my mantras is “Many things can be true at the same time.” Gemini is an air sign; it looks at the big picture to gather different perspectives before deciding on a solution. Due to its dual air like nature, what worked today may not work tomorrow with Gemini energy as new information becomes available, another outlook may be favoured. For this reason, a lot of the stereotypes about Gemini are that they are two-faced, or flip flop in their actions, but this is simply because it brings duality into a flexible, mutable, oneness.
Spring was a season of planting our seeds of value that we would like to sustain us come harvest time. It is a season of getting really clear on our ambitions, values and purpose. In doing so, we will plant the right seeds in our goals, time, money and relationships to foster the growth of what we have planted. This month as we head towards the summer solstice, take a step back and look at the big picture. Celebrate how far you have come in the last six months. Celebrate the gained wisdom and insight your experiences have brought you and taught you this year.
On June 3rd, we had an intense full moon in Sagittarius. We could use this moon transit to celebrate the fullness of our emotional growth and give thanks for the wisdom along the journey. Sagittarius is the sign of wisdom, luck and prosperity. He also represents travel and the journey itself. Our experiences bring us wisdom. In using this wisdom as a compass for moving forward, we travel through luck to the level of prosperity. There is wisdom in both the good and the bad along the way, but being able to look at the big picture like Gemini encourages us to do, we can find the treasure in the test and the calm in the midst of the storm.

You can celebrate where you are and still plan for expansion. Many things can be true at the same time. Pause and celebrate your wins. Then take a step back and look at the many possibilities before rushing to make your next move. With the intensity of the full moon you may feel a bit more tired in your body as we prepare to shift gears into a new season.
Listen to your body, listen to your spirit, and then move into physical alignment. Duality is a gift to bring us into oneness with our journey of wisdom, luck and expansion. Summer season is loading, honour the journey you took to get here. Take the wisdom out of both the good and the bad. Speak your truth in confidence and call in the joy, luck, expansion and prosperity that awaits you. No more playing small, as the longest day of the year approaches, it’s a reminder that it’s time to shine!
