Pain is pain
Grief is Grief…
At the end
The grave does not discriminate
How come people talk
As if death can be cheated
When it is time to leave this earthly space
Loved ones will still mourn and bury a hollow shell the same way….
Even though it hurts to see anguished families
This cycle will not break
Teachings and gatherings
To come up with ways to ease the pain
But,
To heal is to grieve
And,
To grieve is to heal
The feeling of lost seems absolute
But it is only a lesson.
To love every moment
And not take anything for granted.
However stubborn minds will not value
What they had once have
Until it’s gone,
Out of their grasp,
With only dreams of
How precious each second they had
There are different types of grief
And reasons like the stars in the sky,
And the grains of sand
Scars may fade but still remain
If only it could be viewed like shattered reflections
Each piece is a reminder of the power stories
Each teachable moment it gave.
For things that would not matter
In a few years
It should be gifted with grace.
For things that could lead up to regrets
Find reconciliation
Unless it is choice to wander lifetimes
To make amends
With loved ones beyond the grave
Don’t rush to grow up
Don’t push others away
To isolate
When grieving in a communal space
The burden will eventually ease up
Never alone
Enjoy life while
A temporary body
Can still praise
