The launch of LeadHers Club will have a transformational, motivational and inspirational influence of women in leadership positions. As the brainchild of Victoria Althea Mitchell completed her law degree in 2022 and was called to the bar in 2023. She currently worked as a barrister, solicitor and notary public as well as a leadership consultant. The mission, vision and aim of LeadHer Clubs is described as not just a community, but a movement.

Attorney Mitchell was driven to establish LeadHers Club based on her personal experiences. She states, “When I first stepped into leadership roles, I found I often saw myself as not belonging. People said I was too young to lead, that women shouldn’t be leaders, and that it wasn’t my place. These stereotypes almost paralyzed me and made me want to quit, but deep down, I knew we will redefine leadership on our own terms, and I wanted other women to know this too.”

“For women in leadership positions, it’s a space where women of faith come together to share their: stories, support each other, and rise to positions of influence. The overall vision is all about redefining leadership. We’re here to help you: develop your personal growth and leadership abilities, overcome imposter syndrome, negotiate higher salaries, and lead fearlessly while maintaining your unique identity. Whether you’re just starting out, or looking to advance your career, we’ve got your back.” The inclusive mission is to empower new and aspiring women to step into their power and change the world.

The aim of LeadHer Club is to inspire these women to:

  • Step into their power
  • Use their voice
  • Lead with confidence and boldness

There are several interesting stats mentioned on the website such as:

  • 6 % of women in leadership earn six figures annually, compared to 13 % of men.
  • 109 of the top 500 companies in North America have no women on their boards
  • Only 27 % of seats in the House of Common are held by women

LeadHer Clubs would like to see these statistics changed. The website notes, “We’re not just statistics. We’re trailblazers, change makers and leaders in our own right. We’re starting businesses and managing teams, but it’s time for us to lead a larger organization. It’s time to rewrite the narrative. It’s time to negotiate higher earnings, conquer imposter syndrome, amplify your voices in a unique way and embrace our authenticity, all while staying rooted in our faith. It’s time to feel powerful in our and to step into leadership roles with purpose, inclusion and a steadfast connection to our faith.”

LeadHer Clubs is aware of the challenges and struggles that these women face and posed these five questions:

  • Are you stepping into a leadership role and feeling both excited and overwhelmed?
  • Are you grappling with imposter syndrome, gender biases, and balancing personal and professional demands?
  • Are you feeling the pressure to succeed?
  • Are you having self-doubt and feeling a sense of isolation?
  • Do you lack the right to mentor and support networks?

There are several services which are offer by LeadHer Clubs such as:

  • Transformational mentorship
  • Practical resources
  • Supportive community to help you navigate your leadership journey
