Long week,
Fast days
And slow.
Topics spark
Lifting people up like fireflies,
Other days
The mind makes the eyes close.
To be free
To roam wherever you please,
Is like a bird
Learning to fly
After being pushed off the nest,
Or jumping off a cliff
To follow the flock,
Migrating away from the cold
To find rest.
During this time to learn
Feels like an eternity.
Delays & cancellations
Can turn a calm mind
Crazy.
Building up intelligence quotients
Confirms crab in a bucket mentality.
Realization that many don’t want the best,
They rather pull down
Then cry when life hits the fan.
Shields come down
But time is up
Just before it started.
Never enough time
To cover all the essential material.
