Have you ever had an unwanted thought out of the blue? An example would be thinking of a scenario that would make you feel horrified if it were to happen. Well, the root cause of those intrusive thoughts is stress and anxiety, which are common disorders among many people around the world, but don’t worry I’ll explain how to get rid of those horrible thoughts in my article.
First off, our minds are the best bewilders out there, and oftentimes we fall victim to it. For example, sometimes our minds make us believe that everyone is making unpleasant judgments against us when in reality we don’t even know what anyone is thinking. Whether it’s good or bad, we could never truly know, unless we ask them. Keep in mind that the only approval you need is from yourself, besides others have their own life to deal with.
Furthermore, another thing you have to keep in mind is that aligning yourself with the present is the best thing to do, because most crazy scenarios our minds try to show us aren’t even real. Nevertheless, it doesn’t mean it won’t feel real. When we encounter them in our brain, it might scare us to the point we feel helpless. We feel like our world would fall apart if that one thing happened. Breathing exercises might help calm us down, so we become one with ourselves again.
Unfortunately, these thoughts may get in the way of our day-to-day cycle, which would be troublesome because focusing on whatever you’re doing is way more important. Just know that by following the steps I’ve given to you, the obnoxious whisperer won’t affect you. Like Dan Millman said, “You don’t have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you.”
