Wisdom comes from different walks of life,
Perspectives,
Growth from tribulations.
Do not devalue your worth,
Because you may not be looked up to
If you are not in certain positions.
Experiences are unique,
Formed by unplanned lessons
Mosaic mediation.
Studying book smarts
Observing street smarts,
Mix in to balance out.
Yet people are blinded by certificates
By government officials.
It’s like guidance from a street performer
May be more nourishing to a journey.
But coming from an A&R will
Digest more easily,
In projectiles of verbal regurgitation.
Where both are valuable
If both sides were treated with equity.
Do not be discouraged,
It’s not personal to your truths.
Egos may have taken heavy hits,
But blessings surpass any worldly
Opinions,
They will come to understand
Your worthiness,
Priceless value.
Advice from “common folks”
Is like hitting gold mines within trenches.
It’s like finding the biggest pearl
After endless oyster hunting.
A delicious treat hidden within pastry.
Advice worth more than gold.
Beneficiary only the destined and chosen
For those who will fathom.
Don’t worry about being overlooked.
Because it’s those that take heed
To your gems
That will receive blessings in multitudes.
Don’t you ever be discouraged.
