Rediscover Jamaica and feel good again

Jamaica is a land of unique culture, engaging activities, breath-taking landscapes, and warm, welcoming people.

With the country’s borders now open to international travellers, the Jamaica Tourist Board is inviting Jamaicans from far and wide to come explore the beautiful island as part of its new Rediscover JAMAICA local tourism campaign.

Whether you’re returning home to see friends and family or visiting the island for the first time, Rediscover JAMAICA encourages travellers to experience the destination with a fresh set of eyes, embark on new adventures, and make unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.

Over the last few months, Jamaica’s tourism partners have been working tirelessly to plan for a safe and phased reopening. New health protocols and sanitization standards have been implemented across the country to make sure that friends and family can come together safely while enjoying an exciting array of world-class hotels, attractions, shopping and dining destinations.

All visitors travelling to Jamaica are now required to complete an online Travel Authorization between two and five days prior to arrivalThey must undergo a routine health screening upon arrival to the destination.

While on the island, visitors can expect a safe and streamlined experience that includes digital check-in, hand sanitizer stations, elimination of self service at buffets, digital menus, social distancing markers and much more.

With enhanced measures in effect to protect visitors and residents, now is the ideal time for Jamaicans living in Canada to return to the island. Experience the thrilling rush of adventure, take in the natural beauty of the island’s pristine beaches, dig into delicious jerk cuisine, and feel the magnetic energy and vibrant spirit that define this Caribbean jewel.
