Shifts we will be welcoming into 2023; it will be GOOOOOO TIME!

BY AKUA GARCIA

Greetings Kosmic family!  It has been a while since we have connected with a cosmic forecast.

I pray 2023 will be good to you, 2022 was one for the books!  I had taken some time off from writing and other passions to pour into craft.  Most of 2022, I spent coaching wonderful beings through childhood traumas and began teaching courses about emotional and nervous system healing, and subconscious reprogramming.  The last three years have really taken a toll on so many of us.  People were: mentally, emotionally and spiritually drained.  The rising inflation rate, rising food, gas and housing prices have put many in frightening situations.  Being under this constant extreme pressure and stress not only breaks down the mind, but also shows up in our body.

The cosmos were just as active. Last year started with a Venus retrograde and every other planet went retrograde at some point in the year. One of the major themes was values and emotional regulation. We were called to slow down and reflect on what we truly value.  After all the changes during the past few years, a lot of our priorities have changed. With all the transits to come this year, last year was a year to realign ourselves with our true self. It was a year to identify our emotional baggage so we can get clear on what we truly want out of life.

This year will bring a new wave of change, as some of the planets will be making shifts that will definitely be felt. Now that we have identified our triggers and what emotionally keeps us in fear, this year we have to face our emotions so we can expand. Water is the element that represents our emotions. When we are emotionally overwhelmed it can feel like we are drowning. Let this be the year we learn to float then swim through our emotions to stand on our values.

January 1st is not our cosmic new year. Astrologically we celebrate the New Year with the Spring Equinox. Spring is when nature blooms. Use this winter season to slow down and process the year you have just had. Tie up loose ends, recommit to your emotional needs and set a foundation for your values.  Below are the first sets of shifts we will be welcoming into 2023.

Winter Solstice – The Last Lap

December 21st marked the first day of Winter for us on this side of the world. This is a period of: rest, renewal and reflection. It is this time of the year we begin to slow down after the holiday hustle and truly reflect on the year we have had. The Sun drops to its lowest point for three days before re-emerging, signalling new life is a season away. There were many ups and downs this year. You might have felt like you sunk to your lowest point only to see the power you had within yourself to bounce back and realign with the endless possibilities of life.

The Solstice is a magical portal that brings in energy of integration. It is time to integrate and apply the lessons you have learned first internally then allow for the feedback externally. We have grown a lot over the years. Take your time to process and digest, so the energy can be used in the most aligned way. Our new year is in the Spring, use this time to tie up loose ends and make room for your potent expansion.

Get your rest, because when it’s go time, it will be GOOOOOO TIME!
