Success doesn’t rush. The greatest reward is the journey.

BY SABRINA S. – 13 YEARS OLD

We have 5 weeks and 6 days of school left, that means summer vacations are starting.

I’m graduating from middle school this year. I can’t believe I crossed the bridge of middle school alive! With everything that’s been going on for the past couple of years, I definitely thought I’d get lost somewhere.

I guess I did get lost a couple times, a couple assignments weren’t good, and my grades definitely didn’t go through a roller coaster, but it got scary at some points.

I love when school ends and summer starts. After 8 months of school, I definitely need a break.

The few weeks before school ends can be a little bit hectic. Teachers are getting ready to mark you on every little thing you do, and our final tests are coming up. It’s definitely a stage I wish we could skip but the reward at the end is very joyful and well deserved.

Like I said, I’m graduating this year, but part of me doesn’t want the school year to end.

All my friends are going to different high schools, we’re going to lose touch at one point. I’m not going to miss the homework, but I’ll miss all of my friends and the living memories.

I almost don’t want this school year to end. I’ve had a lot of fun and learned a lot of things. I’m dreading leaving my friends. I’m ready to make loads of new memories during the summer and have lots of fun in high school. Everything good must come to an end. I’m ready to move on and continue with my learning while making new friends and memories. All I can do is wish my friends and I stay in touch.

Congratulations to everyone graduating and I hope everyone has a great summer.
