It’s not about what it is. It’s about what it can be

BY SABRINA S. – 12 YEARS OLD

Success can be very hard to achieve, but as they say, “work hard, play hard.”
I’ve achieved many things in my life that I never knew I would. Writing articles for the country to see is definitely thrilling and surprising, It wouldn’t have come true without hard work.

Something I do each day to make sure I can do the best I can is to block everything. I don’t mean like not paying attention to your parents but definitely block all the negativity every day. I also do this when it is time for school, I make sure there is nothing on my desk that I can play with and get distracted, the teacher needs to know that she has my full attention.
“Early bird gets the worm”

A good night sleep also ensures the best concentration during work time. I go to sleep very early and get up early as well, so I have extra time on my hands to clean my desk or make my bed.

A big breakfast also helps you throughout the day and gives you energy, so you don’t have to eat during class anymore.

“Free time is a privilege that can be taken away, use it wisely.”

When I have free time given to me by my teachers, I make sure to do some of my work so later I only need to do
the remaining parts of my homework.

“Don’t give up, ever.”
